1988
Dominique composes the music of Louise Féron’s first single "Tomber sous le charme" which is released at Virgin. Over 50 000 records are sold.
The seventh Dogs’album "A million Ways Of Killing Time" (LP: Mix-It MLPS 8901// CD: Mix-It MCDS 8901) is released on Mix-It / New Rose and recorded at the Mix-It Studio in Paris by Charles Hurbier and Eric Debris (ex Metal Urbain) and is produced by Dominique Laboubée and Jean Labbe.
1989
Release of the promo video Something Magic and the single CD (Mix-It / New Rose) which includes two original numbers ("Goodbye Little Rich Girl" and "Hometown").
Two singles (7'') are taken from "A million Ways Of Killing Time":
-A Million Ways Of Killing Time / In The Shadow Of Love (Mix-It MSS 8901)
-Something Magic / Good Bye Little Rich Girl (Mix-It MSS 8903)


New edition of the first two albums "Different" and "Walking Shadows" on CD and LP by Skydog Records.
Michel Gross (drums) leaves the band. Bruno Lefaivre takes over him (he played the percussions in the latest album).
Antoine starts Tony Truant & the Million Bolivar Quartet.
1990
Louise Féron’s (excellent!) first album is released at Virgin. The music is made by Dominique, the lyrics by Louise Féron. John Cale (ex Velvet Underground) is the producer.
The Dogs take part in the recording.
Dominique and John Cale make the sound mixing in New York.
The album sells well  with 20 000 records sold.
1991
Many gigs in France.
1992
The compilation Tribute to Johnny Thunders contains a Dogs’ title: a cover of "I Wanna Be Loved".
Antoine leaves the band at the end of the year to entirely dedicate to Tony Truant.

je n'avais pas trop apprécié ce disque à l'époque ... le clavier incongru ..le son synthétique ..mais finalement certaines chansons sont imparables comme d'hab avec d. laboubée .. et cette reprise de wreckless eric est du genre addictive . quel groupe ... RIP

Même réaction ! Je déteste ces claviers de merde (on fera une exception pour le piano (Riders on the storm ou Jerry Lee) et l'orgue (Doors ou Lyres) !
Mais avec le temps le disque s'est bonifié ! Et il reste malgré tout quelques bonnes chansons ... le même problème s'est posé avec More, more , more ! Pourtant là aussi le temps et peut-être ...la nostalgie ont fait leur effet !
Dominique a toujours su choisir les bonnes reprises pour les Dogs !

I don't know about these keyboards: not that crappy after all, nice pop sound to them. Though walking shadows is my preferred album from the Dogs, by and large, I kinda like the approach here. And also, shadow of love is prolly the best ever Laboubee tune. Ok, maybe it's secrets. Or maybe it's Anna-Jane. Or maybe it's... I dunno, so much great tracks.

Un vinyl que je n'ai pas beaucoup usé ...en tout cas beaucoup moins que Too Much Class
C'est vrai qu'il y a comme toujours de bonnes chansons (something magic)mais la production est vraiment catastrophique. A l'époque (1989), il y avait quand même plus excitant que ce son là...
En tout cas superbe travail avec artwork complet Merci

c'est vraiment etonnant comme quand c'est mauvais ca reste mauvais
c'est comme le bon vin

et comme les reprises une bonne chanson mal reprise ca ressemble a de la M.... meme plusieurs annees plus tard

mais ô GENIE avec quelques fumees ô GENIE
il a vraiment fallu que la version originale soit geniale pour apprecier pareille M....

Tellement nulle comme reprise que même Wreckless est venu aider les Dogs à l'exécuter !
