Un des meilleurs groupes français de rock !!! Influencés par l'urgence innée du rock australien , produits par R Younger et A Thorne , ils accouchent de ce superbe album ,en 1986 après avoir commis deux précédents mini lp's (dont leur premier disque , enregistré devant leur public , au Havre !) C'est un disque puissant, au son magnifique , dans lequel brillent la voix et le piano de D Comont ! Un disque qui n'eût pas ( dans son propre pays où l'on préfère le rock chanté en français , de préférence par Téléphone ) le succès qu'il aurait mérité !!!

There's actual magic to the whole CK back catalogue (thought granted, not everyone of their tunes is that good: say, half of first EP, all of second EP City Kids, 3/4 of present Orphans, half of 1000 soldiers, three or four tracks off Third life, can't say about the live album as I go blank about live albums: not an heritage to be ashamed of.
Why these guys haven't been huge at least in France while, say, Noir Desir is escapes me 100%.
Yeah, ok, the singing-in-english stuff. Oh well.
