After extensive European and Asian touring with longtime supporters, GREEN DAY, Prima Donna were invited to record at their Oakland, CA studio with headengineer Chris Dugan producing and Willie Samuels mixing. The result is "Bless This Mess" - 12 tracks of catchy, hook-laden, high-intensity Rock n' Roll! Call them punk, glam punk, rock n' roll... any way you cut it Prima Donna channels such influential groups such as X-Ray Spex, Ramones and Sex Pistols, as well as '70s glitter idols Mott the Hoople, T. Rex and David Bowie. But it's their sharp, concise songwriting, that separates the band from the pack and sidesteps any notions of the group simply being "retro."
